May 27 - June 21, 2009

The Ivoryton Playhouse and Lipstick Productions presents a World Premiere Play, Marilyn... Forever Blonde; The Marilyn Monroe story in her own words.

It is 1962 and Marilyn Monroe is in the midst of a photo shoot. She is 36 years old, divorced for the third time and living alone. Frustrated by Hollywood and tired of the label “sex symbol”, Marilyn longs to be respected for her talent and wonders what it would be like to do it all over again. Sunny Thompson gives a breath-taking performance; a pitch-perfect Marilyn that has garnered rave reviews from San Francisco to Sydney to London. A must see Monroe!

For even more information about the play, visit the Marilyn: Forever Blonde website.

Performances are Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm, Friday & Saturday at 8 pm, With matinees on Wednesday and Sunday at 2 pm
